  Research  
    Mohammad Javad Afshari joined Prof. Mingyuan Gao's group in September 2019, and his major research interests are focused on developing nanosystems for quantifying hallmarks of chronic diseases; improving the performance of bioluminescence imaging; preparing hydrogel-based wound dressings for accelerating the healing process.
